Industrialization Engineer

We provide our clients in the US, Europe, and Asia with innovative solutions to maneuver satellites in space while meeting their short timelines and cost-capped budgets. Our company made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world's first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems, and we have since brought the first industrialized products to the market.

About the Role

We are seeking an Industrialization Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our advanced propulsion systems. As an Industrialization Engineer at ThrustMe, you will be responsible for industrializing new and existing products and processes, optimizing existing designs and procedures to address main production constraints, and developing and implementing test methods for new and existing products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Industrialize new and existing products and processes
  • Optimize existing designs and procedures to address main production constraints
  • Develop and implement test methods for new and existing products
  • Participate in qualification campaigns
  • Participate in the qualification of critical suppliers for flight units
  • Document new and existing processes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in mechanical, mechatronic, material, or aerospace engineering
  • 2+ years' experience as an AIT engineer (Assembly, Integration, and Test) or industrialization engineer
  • Experience in CAD and technical drawings (Solidworks/Catia/Inventor/etc)
  • Experience with mechatronic equipment/PCB assembly (soldering) is an asset
  • Familiarity with specific aerospace manufacturing processes and qualification campaigns
  • Coming from a requirement-heavy industry (aviation, space, nuclear, etc.) is a strong asset
  • Communicates in English fluently
