About the Role

Vendée Habitat is seeking a Caretaker Assistant to join our team in Fontenay le Comte. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Replacing the Caretaker in their absence, including management of the team, technical maintenance, and liaison with residents.
  • Maintaining the outdoor spaces, including mowing, pruning, and other tasks.
  • Cleaning common areas of the buildings.
  • Cleaning the immediate surroundings of the buildings, including paper and waste collection.
  • Managing waste disposal and cleaning of bins.
  • Performing initial maintenance of common areas.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CAP-BEP qualification in horticulture or a related field.
  • Experience in maintaining outdoor spaces and knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving license (B permit).
