Job Title: Senior Hardware Engineer for High-Level Synthesis

Siemens Electronic Design Automation SARL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer for High-Level Synthesis to join our team. As a key member of our Global Technical Marketing team, you will be responsible for defining, promoting, and deploying our High-Level Synthesis (HLS) and High-Level Verification (HLV) solutions at leading edge semiconductor and systems customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with key customers to understand business needs and define new technologies and techniques to create the future of HLS and HLV
  • Specify features and capabilities in HLS/HLV in partnership with software engineering team
  • Analyze and rework HLS designs to improve Quality of Results and our product offering
  • Create and deliver customer training on HLS/HLV Products and methodologies
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, webinars, and attend and present at conferences such as DAC, Siemens User2User, DVCon, and so-on
  • Be expected to travel up to 25% of the time nationally, and internationally
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, electronic or computer engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in Technical Marketing, Application Engineering, or Hardware Design with HLS is preferred
  • ASIC or FPGA hardware design experience in algorithmic Video/Image/Signal Processing or AI verticals authoring RTL or C++/SystemC for High-Level Synthesis
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • C++ and/or SystemC language basic proficiency is a plus
  • Experience of RTL synthesis for timing and area QoR and verification flows is a plus
  • Understanding of RTL Power Estimation and Optimization would be a plus
Location:

This position is offered in Grenoble, France. Full-time in-office or Hybrid (up to three days in the office) is preferred, though for the right senior-level candidate, we are able to offer the role as fully remote.
