We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team at oilandgas in the Paris Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the FPSO tandem refurbishment activities and ensuring the engineering dossier is optimized for urgent implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead FPSO Tandem Refurbishment: Organize, prepare, and coordinate procedures, planning, and activities between involved departments, OEMs, and contractors.
- Ensure Engineering Dossier Optimization: Develop and maintain an engineering dossier that is adequate for urgent implementation, including offloading buoy and tandem equipment refurbishment by OEM and sub-contractor.
- Liaise with Floating Unit Lead Engineer: Collaborate with the Floating Unit Lead Engineer for certification/classification society in view of class renewal.
- Manage Conditions of Class and Integrity: Treat conditions of class and integrity issues of hull and offloading systems.
- Qualification: Engineer or equivalent degree.
- Language Skills: English mandatory, Portuguese a plus.
- Professional Experience: 15-20 years in Oil & Gas industry on Offshore Projects/Fields.
- Experience in Mooring Engineering: ± 10 years with sound engineering experience in mooring engineering.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, 'out-of-the-box' thinking, ability to convince, innovative and pioneering spirit, transverse coordination, organized, leadership, and ability to put issues into perspective.
