We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial (Contracts) Engineer to join our team at TotalEnergies Global Procurement in the Facilities and Engineering category. This role will support different actors and product lines across a wide typology of projects, including TotalEnergies' transition to becoming a Multi-Energy company.
Main Responsibilities:- Organize market consultation and negotiate fabrication contracts for offshore foundations/structures, including administering and running the call for tender, negotiating contractual terms and conditions/variations in agreements, and presenting outcomes to management.
- Support the procurement strategy for OFW foundations, consolidating market intelligence for this procurement segment and running multidisciplinary workshops (structural engineers, legal experts, project engineers).
- Fair knowledge of energy-related challenges and industrial construction techniques.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work cross-functionally, flexibility.
- Graduated from an engineering or business school, with a Bachelor's degree as a minimum.
- Experience in complex construction contracts negotiation.
- Proficiency in Power BI is welcome.
- English speaking is mandatory, with French and Chinese being a plus.
- Analytical and synthesis abilities, rigor.
- Strong contractual background & skills.
- Robust understanding of industrial projects in Oil & Gas or Renewables energies.
- Strong Knowledge in EPC/FIDIC contracts.
- Contractual and commercial negotiations with industrial equipment manufacturers and/or major construction project stakeholders.
- Minimum 8/10 years of demonstrated experience in industrial procurement/contracts engineering, ideally in the energy sector.
