About the Role

As a Data Science Expert for AI Development, you will bridge the gap between research and engineering by implementing and deploying state-of-the-art NLP solutions while maintaining high engineering standards.

This position requires strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX), experience with latest transformer-based architectures, and knowledge of ML deployment and MLOps tools (Docker, MLflow, W&B, DVC).

You will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to validate new approaches, building and maintaining ML pipelines and data processing workflows, and contributing to MLOps practices and infrastructure improvements.


Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3+ years of hands-on ML engineering experience
  • Demonstrated research experience (publications, research projects, or industrial research)

Nice to Have:

  • Computer vision experience
  • ASR experience
  • Reinforcement learning experience
  • Experience with multi-modal models
  • Knowledge of distributed training systems
  • Open-source contributions
  • Experience in a startup-like environment
  • German proficiency is a plus
