Eramet's Manganese Alloys (Mn) business unit is a global leader in the production of manganese alloys, with operations spanning Europe and North America. Our five pyrometallurgical plants transform ore into high-quality alloys used in steel production.
We are committed to achieving zero accidents and fostering a sustainable safety culture across all our facilities. To support this mission, we are seeking a dedicated Safety Director to lead safety initiatives within our Mn business unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive safety strategies aligned with group objectives.
- Oversee the execution of safety projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Coordinate policy deployment and conduct regular audits to assess safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Mentor and guide site Safety Managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the safety team.
- Extensive experience in managing safety systems within industrial environments.
- Proven track record of success in leading safety initiatives and driving positive safety outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Norwegian or French is a significant asset.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with relevant experience.
