At General Mills, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within our manufacturing operations and will be an integral part of the Plant Leadership Team.

This role will require the ability to oversee the financial performance of the plant, provide strategic insights, champion a continuous improvement mindset, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Accounting or similar, with 10+ years of Finance experience, ideally in Manufacturing. They will also possess excellent leadership and team management capabilities, a demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, and experience working in a cross-functional team in a matrix organization.

The Plant Finance Manager will be responsible for collaborating closely with plant leadership to provide financial expertise that influences business decisions and drives value for the company. They will also be responsible for efficiently navigating the company's structure and processes to optimize financial decision-making and drive value through strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will be a steward of the plant P&L and balance sheet, owning budget and forecasting as well as variance communication. They will also support the Global Accounting Organization in Accounting matters and ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.

As a key member of the finance team, the Plant Finance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of people, ensuring their performance, and their development. They will also be responsible for partnering closely with the Regional Business Team and reporting to the Plant Manager and to the Regional Supply Chain Finance Manager.
