Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Documentalist Legal Specialist to join our team at Le Grand & Associates. As a key member of our Knowledge Management department, you will be responsible for managing our law firm's library, conducting research, and providing assistance to our lawyers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our law firm's library, including cataloging, classification, and retrieval of documents.
- Conduct research and provide assistance to our lawyers and staff on various legal topics.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments in the legal field and provide regular updates to our team.
- Assist with the development and implementation of our knowledge management strategy.
- Provide training and support to our staff on research skills and legal resources.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools and resources, including Lamy, Dalloz, and Doctrinal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with lawyers, staff, and clients.
- Proficiency in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
