Your Mission
The Global Projects Centre East (GPC East) is responsible for executing projects in Africa, Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Within the Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for sourcing and early engagement of suppliers for umbilicals, flexibles, and cables products.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of bids, and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering, QA, QC & HSE.
- Finalise the bid summary and make recommendations to the Project.
- Prepare the drafting and negotiation of contracts (and framework agreements if any).
- Develop commercial expertise in the umbilicals, flexibles, cables category.
- Participate in sourcing new suppliers.
- Develop collaborative relationships with suppliers and knowledge of key suppliers (organisation, processes, plants,...).
Your Profile
- Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business), Engineer Degree would be a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in industry; Experience in Umbilicals or Flexible would be a plus.
- Good understanding of the overall technical issue and a good knowledge of the offshore industry and its specificities and of complex items.
- Technical awareness or previous experience in management of umbilicals or flexibles subcontract would be a plus.
- In addition to the technical and commercial skills described above, the successful candidate will need to be a strong team player with effective communication and relationship skills, as well as appetite for strategic thinking.
