We are looking for a dedicated professional to join the Fluid Systems Maintenance Department at a nuclear facility.
This department is tasked with both preventive and corrective maintenance of valve systems and boiler-making apparatus, ensuring operational efficiency across various reactors.
Key responsibilities include executing preventive maintenance programs, which cover valve inspections, joint replacements, tank evaluations, and non-destructive testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the Fluid Systems Maintenance Department, your primary duties will encompass:
- Preparing comprehensive work execution documentation, including risk assessments and work certifications, leveraging your technical expertise
- Managing project timelines and integrating them into the overall schedule while coordinating multiple intervention specialties
- Monitoring the execution of activities, addressing observations in accordance with established methods, and ensuring project outcomes meet expectations
Upon completion of training, this role may require on-call responsibilities, necessitating prompt responses within a specified timeframe.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A BTS, DUT, or Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, boiler making, or valve technology
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial experience with a strong focus on mechanical maintenance (boiler making) or significant project management experience
- Expertise in project management, including analysis, preparation, and monitoring, along with a solid grasp of budgetary considerations and client relations
- In-depth knowledge of welding, support systems, or assembly processes
- Attributes such as proactivity, analytical thinking, adaptability to diverse work environments, teamwork orientation, and accountability
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary offered will be commensurate with your qualifications and professional experience, ranging from €30K to €35K (excluding variable remuneration).
Additional compensation will be available for on-call duties. EDF also provides various benefits, including housing assistance, profit-sharing, savings plans, individual performance bonuses, and collective bonuses.
