At Technip Energies, we are a global and leading engineering and technology company, accelerating the energy transition. Our Chartering and Associated Services (CAS) department is looking for a Chartering Administrator Senior F/M to administer Time Charter Parties on projects.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Preparing bidders' lists for sea transportation scope and ensuring vessel owners are screened and cleared.
  • Preparing call for bid packages for sea transportation, in coordination with the Chartering Manager and technical team.
  • Conducting tendering processes using EPC Business or equivalent platform, including follow-up on technical and commercial clarifications from bidders.
  • Performing flow-down of terms and conditions from main contracts to Charter Parties.
  • Negotiating commercial terms and conditions to get the best prices.
  • Preparing Commercial Bid Tabulation (CBT) and Technical Bid Tabulation (TBT).
  • Attending final negotiations before Charter Party award, following up on progress, and recording agreements.
  • Following up on Charter Parties after award, ensuring required documentation is in place.
  • Preparing Monthly Financial Status Reports, reviewing invoices, and verifying backup documentation.
  • Registering invoices in the financial system.
  • Preparing minutes of meeting during meetings with Subcontractors and Client.
  • Preparing letters to Subcontractors and Clients, subject to Chartering Manager's approval.
  • Preparing and issuing charter party amendments and closeout amendments.
  • Highlighting concerns pertaining to contractual or commercial aspects of Charter Parties.
  • Providing regular reporting to the Chartering Manager.
  • Assisting the Chartering Manager in providing cost estimation to the Estimation Department.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in subcontracts, logistics, and Chartering.
  • BIMCO Time Charter party knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English.
  • Dynamic and able to learn from lessons learnt and adapt to challenges.
