We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a key member of our New Product Projects Department Europe, you will be responsible for leading innovation projects in the field of new ophthalmic products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary project team to develop and launch new ophthalmic products, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
- Implement the Stage Gate Process and project management methods to bring new products to market.
- Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress to top management and governance committees.
- Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects and contribute to the development of strategic projects for the EssilorLuxottica Group.
- Engineering or business school graduate with 10 years of experience in project management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments, influence stakeholders, and obtain buy-in from team members and sponsors.
- Autonomous, organized, proactive, results-oriented, and able to coordinate multiple departments and steer projects.
- Strong understanding of operations and the needs of the optical industry business.
- Knowledge of the Stage Gate Process and proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Fluency in English is essential for this position.
