About the Role

We are seeking a Contract Manager to join our team in support of our client's nuclear power plant maintenance activities. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for securing contracts with local or national stakeholders on one or several bodies of work.

You will be part of the client's Engineering and Programs Directorate, which aims to secure contracts through contract management services. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Supporting market preparation and contract negotiation
  • Proposing and defining contractual requirements and mechanisms
  • Participating in the detailed pre-contractual risk analysis
  • Contributing to the review of requirements in collaboration with prescribers, projects, and procurement
  • Verifying the coherence between different contract pieces

You will also be responsible for:

  • Analyzing contractual risks and opportunities (SWOT)
  • Analyzing modification contract proposals and claim files
  • Updating and piloting contract management tools and indicators
  • Producing operational contract deliverables
  • Closing contracts and orders

You will also be responsible for sensitizing and training project managers on contract management fundamentals and collecting and analyzing REX data.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific or legal field, or equivalent experience in contract management or industrial project engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract management or industrial project engineering.
  • Strong analytical, agile, and rigorous skills, with a client-oriented approach and a passion for project management.
  • Understanding of the consulting/conseil posture.
