Quality Assurance Associate – Analytical Equipment

Just-Evotec Biologics is on the lookout for a dedicated Quality Assurance Associate specializing in Analytical Equipment, aiming to enhance global access to biotherapeutics.

In the context of establishing a biomedicine manufacturing facility, you will report to the Project Quality Assurance Manager within the Quality Assurance Engineering and Validation team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices through the qualification processes of various equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing documentation prepared by our partners for the three Quality Control Laboratories: Microbiology, Physico-Chemistry, and Bioassay.

You will be responsible for overseeing equipment that aligns with your expertise, which may include HPLC systems, COT meters, incubators, pipettes, freezers, refrigerators, and bioburden pumps.

The types of documentation you will review include protocols, executed protocols, and reports.

Monitoring deviations related to the equipment under your supervision. Depending on your background, you may also be involved in the implementation of corrective action plans, change control processes, or standard operating procedure reviews. Providing regular updates and reports regarding your responsibilities to your direct supervisor.

Position Requirements

• You hold a technical degree, preferably with a focus on quality or laboratory sciences. Ideally, you have prior successful operational experience, including internships or cooperative education.
• You possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, particularly Parts I & II, including appendices 1 and 15.
• Experience or training in biomanufacturing is considered an advantage.
• You are proactive, energetic, and possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating excellent teamwork.
• Proficiency in written English is essential, and verbal communication skills in English would be beneficial.
