About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our team at ENGIE, a global energy leader. As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Controlling and Performance in the Real Estate, Workplace & Services line of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation and animation of the budget process for the France perimeter.
  • Support the Head of Controlling and Performance in the construction of the Performance Action and Monitoring Tool (PAMT).
  • Analyze the performance of the line of service and develop recommendations, including in cases of discrepancies between the budget and actual results.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
  • Ensure the update of various reporting tools (Klee, Greport, etc.).
  • Control and build relevant indicators to track and optimize costs and performance.
  • Develop summaries and reporting that aim to drive the line of service.
  • Perform specific studies on a case-by-case basis at the request of the Head of Controlling and Performance.
  • Provide support to managers in the perimeter on all financial matters (project financials, profitability analysis, etc.).
  • Pilot or contribute to transverse projects to the Financial Direction of GBS.
Requirements
  • Higher education in finance, accounting, and control (university or business school).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Technical mastery of financial management, control, and budgetary follow-up.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial indicators and financial statements (P&L, FCF, BS).
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards is a plus.
  • Knowledge and mastery of the real estate world (regulations, FM, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and intellectual rigor.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong initiative and autonomy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Perfect mastery of Excel.
  • Knowledge of group tools (SAP-VESTA, SAP-Analysis for office, Ariba).
  • Fluency in French and English.
