About the Role

Transdev is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal vehicle availability and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and assign tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources
• Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and tracking of spare parts and materials
• Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance processes
• Communicate with stakeholders, including maintenance teams, operations, and management, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, and promote a culture of safety and risk prevention
• Supervise and mentor maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and policies to ensure the long-term sustainability and efficiency of our maintenance operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or logistics
• Proven experience in maintenance planning and coordination, preferably in a transportation or logistics industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of maintenance management software and systems, preferably in a transportation or logistics industry
