About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Digital Media Officer. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information to our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and execution of engaging strategies to improve internal communication.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information to EDQM colleagues.
- Set up, maintain and revamp, when necessary, our internal communication channels and keep them up-to-date.
- Collaborate with others to gather relevant information.
- Create engaging content for internal communication materials with the aim of improving cohesion and increasing engagement across the Organisation.
- Contribute to and coordinate the organisation of internal events and the communication surrounding them.
- Set up and maintain relationships with media representatives, journalists and relevant key opinion leaders in the public health sector.
- Gather input for and ensure distribution of press releases, media kits and other materials for media distribution.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze trends and provide recommendations for enhancing the EDQM's reputation and brand perception.
- Assist crisis communication efforts when necessary by providing timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Hold a degree or qualification in communication or another relevant field.
- Have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in internal communications and/or media relations, including a track record of successfully coordinating communication initiatives/campaigns, preferably gained in public health and/or an international environment.
- Have a very good knowledge of one of the other (French);
- Have discharged any obligation concerning national service (military, civil or comparable).
- Good understanding of tools and platforms used for digital communication and media management, monitoring and analysis such as Talkwalker, Cision or other.
