The WNY Law Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Attorney to join our Housing Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct supervision to staff caseloads, conducting regular case reviews, and ensuring compliance with office-wide policies and Legal Services Corporation regulations.

As a key member of our team, the Supervising Attorney will work closely with the Senior Supervising Attorney to shape the direction of the Housing Unit and develop affirmative impact litigation on behalf of tenants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housing law and a proven track record of success in managing staff and leading teams.

The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for the regular review of the work performed, development of necessary training and unit litigation strategies, and assist with administrative duties, including developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Unit. The Supervising Attorney will also develop relationships and engage in collaborations with community partners to ensure integrative services and address systemic barriers facing our client community.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in housing law, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
