Senior Security Architect

EM Microelectronic-Marin Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join its Security Team in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in security topics, from low-level hardware design to high-level system security concepts.

The successful candidate will work closely with the company's Business Units to define, implement, and verify the security architecture of EM's System-on-Chip (SoC) products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security requirements for EM's products
• Design and implement hardware security architectures for ICs
• Collaborate with product development teams to design and implement secure features
• Perform security threat analysis and review of security systems
• Interface with customers to define security requirements and provide security consulting
• Review and audit security implementations

• Masters or PhD in security, software engineering, or electronics
• At least 7 years of experience in the security field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in secure microcontrollers architecture
• Experience with design of hardware security IPs
• Knowledge of security automotive standards (ISO 21434, A-Spice, etc.)
• Understanding of physical attacks

• Knowledge of cryptography fundamentals: algorithms and protocols
• Experience performing physical attacks (invasive attacks, side-channel attacks, fault attacks)
• Secure software development (libs, bootloader, etc.)
• Experience with certification schemes such as FIPS140 and Common Criteria

• Good written and spoken English
• French and/or German would be an asset
