Position Overview

  • As a member of the Information Systems Sub-Directorate (SDSI), you will be part of the SAP Expertise Office (BSE) located in Bordeaux.
  • Your primary responsibilities as an internal functional consultant for SAP MM, WM, and QM will include:
    • Enhancing and sustaining the use of SAP ECC6 within the SIAé SUPPLY CHAIN sector, with a planned transition to S/4 Hana as part of the digital transformation initiative.
    • Overseeing the operational continuity of the SAP ECC6 solution (SAPHIR) by managing updates and patches as part of both evolutionary and corrective maintenance, validating solutions proposed by the outsourced application maintenance provider, conducting tests on delivered solutions, ensuring successful deployment, and providing support and training to key users.
    • In the context of enhancements, you may take charge of intricate configurations (across one or more modules) following a phase of reversibility from the outsourced application maintenance, and be responsible for drafting both general and detailed specifications for configurations and developments.
  • Your contributions will extend to the following activities:
    • Delivering business support by addressing support requests, incidents, and enhancements within the domain,
    • Managing comprehensive evolution projects while ensuring the effective implementation of solutions in the Supply Chain functional area,
    • Analyzing and proposing new solutions to satisfy business needs and demands, including adherence to CoreModel design principles,
    • Executing both simple and complex configurations, along with associated unit and integration testing,
    • Facilitating weekly meetings with business teams to monitor ongoing tasks,
    • Ensuring effective communication and functional integration with other functional consultants, business teams, and SDSI teams.
  • This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth expertise in SAP maintenance and deployment. Your engagement in various project phases will enrich your experience in preparing for a migration to S/4 HANA.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a State-recognized Bac + 5 diploma (university degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline) and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Demonstrate strong functional knowledge of SAP, with mastery of at least the SAP MM, WM, and QM modules and their interrelations.
  • Have proven experience in managing SAP projects within contexts of continuous improvement and digital transformation.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge of Supply Chain areas, particularly Logistics, and a capability to quickly understand various tools.
  • Showcase good interpersonal skills: service-oriented, aware of business challenges, actively listening, and effective communication. Value teamwork: coordination, management, and supervision. Be organized: capable of autonomy, prioritizing tasks, resilience, and thoroughness.
  • This role is based in Bordeaux, with potential teleworking days adapted to the service organization after the trial period.
