About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Application Engineer for the Advanced-FlowTM Reactor (AFR) activity. As a key contact for our clients, you will be responsible for supporting our customers from the R&D phase to industrial scale-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the customer's process and provide expert consultation on equipment selection and technology transfer from batch to continuous.
  • Manage the start-up of our equipment for our customers, including commissioning, training, test monitoring, data analysis, and equipment process optimization.
  • Lead the development of our continuous flow processes by promoting, managing, and developing Corning's applications laboratories.
  • Collaborate with AFR engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive business growth and excellence.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree or PhD in organic chemistry, supplemented by experience as a Research Engineer or Application Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong skills in organic chemistry.
  • Knowledge of automation and process control is a plus.
  • Practical technical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English and French language skills.
  • Fluency in another language is a plus.
