EHS Manager

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing direction, planning, and oversight of EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations and Corporate standards across the France CHVAC entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead EHS teams to develop and implement EHS plans and strategies for France aligned with the Commercial HVAC business unit strategic direction.
• Collaborate with senior management and other functions to achieve optimal EHS performance.
• Develop and deploy EHSOS Operational Controls, create additional policies and practices, and monitor the development and implementation of EH&S programs within the unit.
• Oversee EHS investigations into workplace incidents to uncover root causes, identify immediate and preventative actions, and capture 'lessons learned.'
• Lead EHS training and development programs and manage the prequalification, deployment, and safety performance of subcontractors to ensure they meet EHS standards and expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Engineering, or relevant scientific/technical area.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive work experience gained working with organizations in construction or field-based and manufacturing operations.
• Regulatory knowledge including safety, environmental, and other regulatory standards applicable to building services industries and construction.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and lead teams, drive change, and interact cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, influence, and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.
