Job Title: Dock Operations Agent - Forklift Operator 1B-3-5 H/F
Our client is a prominent global logistics provider specializing in frozen goods. They are currently looking for a Dock Operations Agent - Forklift Operator to enhance their workforce. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations within a modern facility that promotes teamwork and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the loading and unloading processes of trucks and containers using a forklift
- Repairing and labeling defective pallets, as well as organizing their storage
- Conducting routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
- Managing documentation related to receiving and shipping
- Upholding cleanliness and organization of workspaces and equipment
- Operating machinery pertinent to dock activities
- Adhering to safety regulations and protocols
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid CACES 1B-3-5 certification
- Previous experience in operating forklifts
- Capability to work in refrigerated environments
Preferred Attributes:
- Demonstrates respect and attentiveness to instructions and equipment
- Exhibits teamwork while being able to work independently
