Job Overview:

As a key member of the Process and Technology department at Orano Group, we are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to provide technical expertise in process optimization and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of equipment performance to ensure sustainable operation
  • Provide expert advice on extending equipment lifespan and implementing cost-effective solutions
  • Develop and propose solutions for obsolete automation equipment and systems
  • Act as a technical reference for projects related to facility sustainability and process optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a roadmap for automation sustainability
  • Migrate automation programs to current generations and ensure seamless integration
  • Participate in long-term sustainability strategy development and implementation
  • Collaborate with nuclear safety authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
