Job Summary
This role is responsible for the design, development, and industrialization of electromechanical products or chips, maximizing business value and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product needs into technical specifications
- Design product architecture corresponding to technical specifications
- Oversee or carry out 3D and 2D drawings (for mechanical parts), schematics placement and layouts (for electronics designs)
- Improve design thanks to CAD simulations and emulations
- Oversee prototypes manufacturing
- Carry out integration of sub-systems, qualification, and validation of hardware design
- Oversee certifications of products
- Oversee mass production manufacturing (industrialization)
- Write technical guidance
- Carry out technological watch
- Participate in quotation for customers
- Coordinate with stakeholders to solve design and development issues
- Own responsibility for the design and development of complex equipment, processes, and full systems
- Prepare engineering studies, specifications, and cost estimates
- Act as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects
- Act as technical lead
- Supervise the work of technicians and engineers
- Work in total autonomy
