Localization Project Manager

Capijobnew is seeking a highly skilled Content Localization Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for managing the localization workflow for our content, ensuring that our products are delivered to international markets with high-quality translations and cultural adaptations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage localization projects and requirements across internal and external vendors
- Collaborate with Netflix stakeholders to identify critical business blockers and develop solutions
- Oversee end-to-end localization workflow using our translation management tools and systems
- Identify and manage project risk through prioritization, bug management, and other means
- Drive high-quality output from localization vendors and freelancers
- Oversee the localization budget for your projects
- Project kick-offs and vertical meetings with cross-functional groups for planning
- Manage and train different vendors, translators, and reviewers
- Evaluate and improve globalization processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Localization, Language Studies, or International Studies
- 5+ years of prior localization project management experience, working on projects involving language launches, software, creative content, and/or subtitle localization
- Experience working in media and entertainment
- Working knowledge of industry-standard localization tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an internet company
- Bias to action, proactive, and innovative by nature
- Strong attention to detail
- Full professional fluency in German and English (additional languages are a plus)
