About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Lyon. As a key member of our freight operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and timely freight process flow, accurate and timely data entry, and optimizing route planning and truck utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
  • Interact with customers (internal and external) in arranging their GNS shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  • Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers.
  • Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations.
  • Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPs.
  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's procedures.
  • Timely communication.
  • Escalation of problems to Management when necessary.
  • Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year related experience.
  • Expeditors' Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Basic local regulatory knowledge for compliance.
  • Global Logistics Industry knowledge.
  • Hazardous materials certification (preferred).
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
  • Positive and willing to help attitude.
