About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Sector Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics sector, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and control the logistics activities of your sector, including receiving, preparing, and shipping orders to our stores.
- Manage a team of approximately 30 Preparers of Orders, providing operational and HR support as needed.
- Assist your team during periods of high activity.
- Ensure that all logistics operations are carried out to the highest standards, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance with Lidl's standards.
- Manage the Logistics Team Leaders on operational tasks, economic follow-up, and HR matters.
- Act as a substitute for the Logistics Department Manager during their absence.
- Organize and lead meetings with Logistics Team Leaders and other logistics teams.
- Conduct recruitment interviews and disciplinary interviews.
- Take charge of a specific mission, such as recruitment, tracking of unknown items, environmental management, efficiency of Preparers of Orders, or any other specific mission assigned by the Logistics Department Manager.
Requirements
- You have a degree in a logistics or management-related field (BAC+2/3).
- You have 3-5 years of experience in management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain role.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary, with a starting salary of €43,399 gross per year, increasing to €48,857 after 6 months, €51,270 after 1 year, and €53,536 after 2 years.
- A 13-month salary.
- A 42-hour workweek, with 2 days off (Sunday and one variable day during the week).
- A prime for seniority after 3 years and beyond.
- A prime for participation and/or profit-sharing (depending on the company's results).
- Recovery days based on overtime worked.
- Primes related to your position: confinement and frozen, wrapping, unwrapping, night shifts.
- A comprehensive training program, combining theory and practice, to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
- Opportunities for career advancement to Logistics Department Manager or other leadership roles within the company.
