Job Title: Trims and Components Sourcing

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trims and Components Sourcing professional to join our team at LANVIN. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing high-quality trims and components for our luxury fashion products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct seasonal research and development of full range of trims for proto and sampling based on creative briefs and own research
  • Develop all trims from supplier sourcing to final handover to production
  • Work creatively within a collection range plan and budget per season/project
  • Collect and manage all price, lead-time, and technical information for trims
  • Collaborate with quality department to ensure products meet quality standards and CSR requirements
  • Negotiate with suppliers for price and lead-time
  • Manage all trims purchases and follow-ups
  • Update all trim cards and boards used by all teams
  • Enrich and animate current suppliers pool
  • Manage sampling trim buy and trim charts for internal communication
  • Pass all information to production trim buyer to input to SAP or PLM
  • Work closely with fabric, print, and embroidery team to ensure trimmings work alongside color and fabric allocations
  • Build good relationships with bags and accessories teams to ensure good links for design between all teams
  • Maintain and build close cooperation with designers, product development, quality, and production teams
  • Visit seasonal fabric and trim fairs (France & Italy)
  • Maintain the trim archive from previous seasons
  • Supervise trim intern
  • Work with stockist to ensure trim archive and stocks are up to date

Requirements:

  • Academic degree from Fashion school and/or related field
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role with strong understanding of materials
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication, French/Italian skills are meriting
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through & time management skills
  • Knowledge of SAP or PLM – Centric is a beneficial
  • Cooperative and a team player with strong communication skills
  • Flexible, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving attitude and proactive
