About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at DECATHLON Retail Omnichannel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Develop and implement a human and commercial project, define and implement it with your team, and ensure the well-being of each team member.
- Commercial and Sales Strategy: Define and lead the sales project for your department, manage product range, shelf space, stocks, and sales drive, and work as a team to promote our products.
- Operational Management: Manage your operating account, develop and manage resources independently to achieve objectives, and work closely with the shop leader to achieve business goals.
- Initiative and Decision-Making: Demonstrate a good sense of initiative, make decisions and express ideas in a group setting, and use simple and effective levers to achieve sustainable performance.
Requirements:
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven experience in leading a team, commitment to challenges, and a taste for innovation.
- Commercial and Sales Acumen: Good understanding of commercial and sales strategies, ability to work quickly and well, and a good sense of initiative.
- Operational Management: Ability to manage resources independently, develop and implement operational plans, and achieve business objectives.
