Your Role

As a seasoned Backend Developer with EGYM, you will be working on all aspects of the product life cycle. You will leverage your backend expertise to drive the development of customer-facing features, from concept to implementation.

  • You will design scalable mobile web applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Container Engine.
  • You will work with a variety of tools and technologies, including Java, Spring, Go, Event-Driven Architecture, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, GCP, and more.
  • You will collaborate with a team of professionals to implement new software projects in microservices to provide APIs.
  • You will write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will take ownership of the work you do, understanding its architecture and delivering on product requirements and features.
  • You will be familiar with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department.
  • You will blend with the team and the company culture.
  • You will be comfortable working with our codebase.
