Job Title: Assistant Vice President - Finance Change Delivery Specialist

HSBC Group is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President - Finance Change Delivery Specialist. This role will be responsible for delivering complex, large-scale change within a financial services environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory and compliance imperatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and interpret data calculations and validation within systems, troubleshooting user issues related to system usage and data quality.
  • Understand CaRT and Basel framework, including process (technical solution), regulatory requirements for data purposes, and systems.
  • Deliver milestones within plan and robustly document change plans with clear rationale for decisions taken.
  • Quick and effective resolution of issues and conflicting priorities using a RACI model to ensure relevant stakeholders are engaged in decision-making.
  • Robust programme governance documentation and tracking/resolution of dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Effective participation in working groups and steering committees, with stakeholder communication plans in place and delivered against.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Relevant professional qualification desirable, e.g., Prince 2, MSP, Prosci, APMG change management practitioner.
  • Proven and progressive experience in operating model design, process design, organization development, or change management roles within private sector businesses.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex, large-scale change within a financial services environment and an appreciation of regulatory and compliance imperatives.
  • Practical understanding of software development lifecycles and methods, including requirements definition and testing in both waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Proven leadership track record in dynamic environments, with the ability to support and direct large teams with diverse backgrounds and skill-sets, both locally and offshore.
