Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Project Manager to lead the development of permanent Chanel F&B counters and coordinate project management aspects from design to installation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural projects, ideally in the luxury or retail industry, and experience in a time-sensitive production environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing creative and innovative solutions, collaborating with marketing and commercial teams, and ensuring that all project phases are completed as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop permanent Chanel F&B counters and coordinate project management aspects from design to installation
  • Provide creative and innovative solutions and applications according to brand guidelines, retailer guidelines, specific design requirements, budgets, and schedules
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Establish timelines and drive all parties to complete project phases as scheduled
  • Review all design documents pertaining to each project
  • Coordinate bid and financial process and approvals
  • Review shop technical drawings with nominated shopfitters in order to check and approve construction drawings and materials spec
  • Visit shopfitter's factories prior to installation to ensure quality of manufacture
  • Work with market teams to order proper POS merchandising, visuals, and digital elements
  • Conduct store visits on site after installations completed to check quality of production and resolve any snagging issues
  • Structure transparent and efficient communication with all parties involved in the project and with upper management for all validation steps and process

Requirements:

  • Architecture, industrial or interior design degree required (or other relevant experience)
  • Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite software's (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
  • Ability to use 3D software (Sketchup is mandatory) and 3D renderings software (V-Ray)
  • Ability to speak English (mandatory)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in architectural projects ideally in luxury or retail industry, and in a time-sensitive production environment
  • Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives
  • Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines
  • Organizational skills and attention to details
  • Graphic design skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to collaborate as a team player, for the greater of the brand
  • Awareness for competition and retail industry developments and actualities
