Our Mission

As a Fabrication Assistant within the Bayard/Milan production team, you will work closely with your supervisor to ensure the smooth production of books and print-on-demand materials. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing production from file submission to delivery, adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinating all production stages, from design to printing, with internal stakeholders (editors, designers) and external partners (pre-press and printing services).
• Verifying files, color proofs, and print samples.
• Creating quotes, preparing production files, managing orders, and tracking invoices.
• Ensuring the quality of produced materials.
• Updating production dashboards and tools.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in fabrication (BTS or equivalent degree). You should have a passion for the book industry, particularly in children's and young adult publishing. Proficiency in technical and office software is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also required. Knowledge of English is a plus.
