Position Overview
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of CNC Turner-Miller, you will be tasked with operating machinery to create, bore, and shape various parts, including cylindrical, conical, or prismatic components, in accordance with technical specifications. This position requires proficiency in both conventional and computer numerical control machinery.

KEY TASKS
  • Prepare and organize the workspace
  • Execute turning operations
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on production equipment
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Set up the work area and necessary tools for individual or small batch production
  • Evaluate technical requirements
  • Identify and plan machining stages
  • Program machine settings
  • Adjust and fine-tune cutting instruments
  • Select appropriate machine configurations and adjustments
  • Conduct quality assessments of machined components
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery
  • Produce parts according to specified plans
CNC TURNER-MILLER COMPETENCIES
  • Proficient in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CAD) software
  • Understand production tracking metrics
  • Apply programming languages for Numerical Control (NC)
  • Skilled in NC software applications
  • Adhere to metrology standards
  • Comply with quality assurance regulations
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Perform basic machinery maintenance
  • Operate designated equipment safely
