Database Administrator

PROPULSE IT is currently seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join one of its clients for a project involving the re-internalization of the operation of 500 SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the technical context provided by the service provider and document it thoroughly.
• Assist in preparing for the internal operation takeover, ensuring a seamless transition.
• Participate in reversibility activities with the service provider, guaranteeing a smooth handover.
• Manage incidents, changes, and ensure operational conditions and security are maintained.
• Contribute to the update of the database services catalog, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Report and monitor activities, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Adhere to security standards and information system requirements, ensuring compliance.
• Update operation documentation, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base.

Technical Integration:

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will be involved in technical integration for projects, including:

• Defining database architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Supporting the integration of databases, guaranteeing seamless data exchange.
• Creating technical database reference documents, providing a comprehensive knowledge base.

Profile Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Expertise in Database Administration, with a strong focus on SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT teams.
• Excellent writing abilities, with a focus on clear and concise documentation.
• Proficiency in English, with regular meetings with IT teams.
• Knowledge of Information System Security, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
