Job Description

We are seeking a Configuration and Modification Ferroviaire Specialist to join our team in Valenciennes Petite-Forêt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for updating and tracking the physical configuration to ensure the train's release, in accordance with the contract's requirements. Your main tasks will be:

• Define and implement the configuration management function within the project organization, as well as the associated tools, based on project and client requirements.
• As a true project leader, establish KPIs for performance tracking and evaluate the impact of modifications on reliability.
• With strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude, ensure that project team members understand and respect the application of process rules.
• Autonomous and rigorous, evaluate the impact of modifications on reliability and ensure that cost considerations are taken into account in the impact analysis during modifications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree from a prestigious engineering school or a Master's degree in engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment. You will also need to demonstrate strong relational and team management skills, as well as diplomacy. A good understanding of project planning, engineering, production, and testing is essential. Knowledge of railway products, systems, and components would be an asset. Fluency in English is mandatory for this position.
