Job Summary
We are seeking a Classical Safety Specialist to join our team at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Classical Safety Engineer within the ESRF Safety Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in general risk assessments and identify potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor the work of external companies and ensure compliance with ESRF safety standards.
- Investigate work accidents and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
- Develop and conduct training courses on safety issues for ESRF employees and visitors.
Requirements
- A degree in Health and Safety or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in risk assessment and safety management.
- Good knowledge of French and European safety legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in English, the working language at the ESRF.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract with a competitive salary package, including financial support for relocation to Grenoble.
