RTW Trims Developer

This is a key role within the Loewe team, responsible for developing trims for specific RTW collections. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, product developers, and the production team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality trims.
Key Responsibilities:- Attend trims catch-ups with designers and product developers to discuss trim requirements and budget constraints.
- Launch and follow up on trim developments, allocating launches to suitable trim suppliers and ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage PLM codification, updating general documents with technical information and respecting deadlines.
- Ensure transparency in product, cost, and deadlines with the production team.
- Follow up on delivery dates and offer secondary options if deliveries cannot be reached.
- Keep communication tools up to date, ensuring accurate documentation for the Merch team, studio, and PD.
- Presentation for fitting, ensuring visuals are ready for pre-fittings and delivered to the fitting place.
- Organize and launch dyeing and galvanization of trims based on product developer needs.
- Ensure organized and clear trims developments, both in stock and during fittings.
- Monitor budgets daily to provide weekly updates on collection development, highlighting issues and foreseen over-spent budgets.
- Validate invoices in due time to ensure timely payment to suppliers.
- Ensure transparency with the production team, providing necessary elements for the production process.
- Anticipate potential issues and find solutions with the quality team in Spain, launching tests during developments for sensitive matters.
- Prepare information on PLM for handover and costing meetings, including trims masterbooks and samples for new developments.
- Find commercial alternatives and make amendments when necessary to meet price point requirements.
- Participate in detail review, handover meetings, and costing meetings to ensure raw materials respect price lines and are balanced.
- Regularly check trims carry-over stock to avoid shortages, working with PD to highlight low stock levels.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in trims development
- Excellent communication and sociability skills
- Team player with a focus on timely delivery and satisfaction of design, atelier, and PD teams
- Dynamic and positive attitude
- Good address book and contacts in luxury raw materials
- Strong organization skills and accuracy with data, pricing, and Excel
- Fluent in English (ideally French and Italian)
- Comfortable with computer systems (PLM, Excel)
