This is a full-time role for a Cost Controller / FP&A Controller at Sequans Communications. As a Cost Controller / FP&A Controller, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and controlling the company activity: OPEX, CAPEX, and R&D project (timesheet). This position is at the crossroad of controlling and accounting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decisions
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement solutions
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and decision-making
- 5+ years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis
- Strong business partner spirit and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Strong MS Excel and good MS office skills, with experience in using ERP (SAP preferred)
- Good knowledge of accounting and working under hard real-time constraints
- P2P and cash management knowledge
- Experience in providing analysis of gaps vs Budget, previous Forecast & LY, in promoting good practices to non-financial stakeholders
- Fast learning capabilities, ability to work in a team, very good communication skills, and used to work in fast-moving and multicultural environments
- Fluent English is mandatory, fluent French will be a plus
- Experience in engineering environment / Tech start-up or Industrial costing will be a plus (timesheet control)
