Job Title: Software Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Sales Engineer to join our team at Energy Pool. As a key player in the energy transition, we provide advanced services and software solutions for the optimisation of distributed energy resources.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation, and contributing to Energy Pool's sales development. This includes canvassing customer targets, developing new relationships, and preparing sales materials in multiple languages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation
  • Canvass customer targets and develop new relationships
  • Prepare sales materials in French and English, or other languages as required
  • Qualify and prioritise business opportunities
  • Draw up commercial and technical offers, with support from the teams
  • Coordinate and lead the pre-sales team, ensuring compliance with company processes
  • Lead contract negotiations, including commercial and technical aspects
  • Set up industrial and/or commercial partnerships and develop independent sales channels
  • Report on activities using the company's CRM tool
Requirements
  • At least 5-9 years' experience in selling complex solutions in a B2B environment, ideally in the Energy or Software sectors
  • Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing contracts
  • Strong sales strategy and results-driven approach
  • Expertise in Value Selling, with the ability to understand customer challenges and design customised solutions
  • Fluent English and ability to work in an international context
