Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to direct the strategic planning for our process engineering team, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and vision. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of process engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the strategic planning for the process engineering team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and vision.
- Lead and mentor a team of process engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage the development of our industrial pilot unit from concept design through to construction and commissioning.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology providers.
- Strengthen and manage relationships with engineering firms to ensure clear communication, alignment with project goals, and timely delivery of milestones.
Requirements
- Over 15 years of experience in technical leadership within process engineering, especially in areas like electrolysis, carbon capture and utilization, or gas and liquid separation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Proven project management capabilities, with experience delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
- Extensive experience with first-of-a-kind industrial projects and scaling up new technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of developing and reviewing P&IDs and PFDs, and familiarity with process engineering tools like Aspen HYSIS.
- Experience leading HAZOP/HAZID review sessions.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
