Become a pivotal part of a prominent Defense organization as a Quality Assurance Engineer
As a key player within the Volvo Group, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our team.
In this capacity, you will oversee the quality assurance of procured components from external vendors supplied to our manufacturing facilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and qualifying potential vendors for our organization,
- Overseeing a network of suppliers to drive continuous enhancement,
- Analyzing supplier production methodologies, identifying potential risks, and executing necessary corrective measures,
- Delivering effective solutions to supplier-related challenges in both immediate and long-term contexts,
- Managing requests for deviations,
- Facilitating discussions with both internal and external stakeholders regarding quality and technical matters.
Qualifications required:
A degree in mechanical engineering, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance. Proficient technical knowledge in welding, machining, and casting processes. Familiarity with ISO and AQAP standards, problem-solving methodologies, and technical documentation is essential. Proficiency in technical English is required.
