We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team at ALSTOM Gruppe, specializing in the development of smart train interiors. As a key member of our Interiors Component Development Site, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and industrializing innovative solutions for our train interiors products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop smart train interiors products, integrating latest electronics and mechatronics technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Train Control and Train Electrical entities, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Develop and manage R&D projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Suggest innovative solutions and R&D partnerships opportunities in line with ALSTOM's development strategy.
- Contribute to the development of a robust and ambitious roadmap for future developments.
- At least 5 years of experience in R&D/product development of products with embedded electronics & software in an industrial, preferably international, context.
- Proficiency in electrical and electronics design & modelling tools (E3S, Simulink, ControlBuild), and programming languages (Matlab, Python, C).
- Proven experience with RAM(S) concepts & methodologies applied to electronics components.
- Proven R&D project management experience in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work in an international environment; fluency in English; French is a bonus.
