About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Second de Cuisine to join our team at Emera Résidence Saint-François. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with our Chef de Cuisine to create delicious and balanced menus for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Creation: Collaborate with our Chef de Cuisine to design and prepare menus that cater to the tastes and dietary needs of our residents.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the efficient management of food stocks and the freshness of ingredients.
  • Menu Development: Contribute to the creation of menus that showcase your culinary skills and creativity.
  • Food Presentation: Ensure that all dishes are presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
  • Food Safety: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Leadership: In the absence of the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • CAP, BEP, or BAC Pro in cuisine
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow
