About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Designer to join our team at Applica. As a key member of our design office, you will be responsible for defining layouts and 3D models of surface facilities, including brownfields and greenfields, onshore and offshore installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist design and safety engineers in defining surface facilities, including brownfield and greenfield installations.
  • Perform installation studies during preliminary, conceptual, and pre-project studies.
  • Size installations from benchmark data when appropriate information is not available.
  • Respond effectively to technical issues, including knowledge in geodesy, structure, civil work, piping, and E&I disciplines.
  • Knowledge and respect of standards and regulations on installation, drafting, and 3D modeling.
  • Assist conception engineering and safety engineering during technical and quality reviews, presentations, and animations.

Requirements

  • Qualification: BTS, DUT, IUT, or university equivalent.
  • Languages: French and English.
  • Professional experience: at least 10 years of experience in a design office in the oil and gas industry.
  • Very good knowledge of general installation principles and high autonomy.
  • Very good aptitude in drawing and design (CAO/DAO).
  • Very good knowledge of 2D/3D CAD tools, including AutoCad, MicroStation, PDMS, and E3D.
  • Ability to work in a team, demonstrating enthusiasm, responsiveness, and rigor.
