Role Overview
The Power Systems Engineer collaborates with various specialists within the Engineering Department, including SCADA, Civil Works, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as the Technology Management Department, to deliver optimal solutions for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive studies to identify grid code requirements essential for connecting renewable energy facilities to power networks.
2. Collect, analyze, and critically assess data gathered during grid code requirement studies and interactions with Network Operators.
3. Optimize and adjust renewable energy plant designs based on the insights obtained from the studies.
4. Execute or oversee network calculation studies using specialized software to ensure compliance of photovoltaic plants with grid code requirements.
5. Supervise the preparation of all deliverables related to Preliminary, Basic, and Detailed Design studies.
6. Participate in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, leading to the selection of vendors and subcontractors, culminating in contract agreements.
7. Provide support to regional teams and ENGIE partners during the tendering and delivery phases of renewable energy projects.
Qualifications
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial assets is advantageous. A demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment is highly valued.
