About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of process improvements and automation solutions in our warehouse operations. This will involve working closely with the Methods Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and technologies
- Conduct testing and validation of new systems and processes
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on new procedures
- Lead and maintain a 5S program on site
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation of warehouse operations and procedures
About the Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in logistics and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations. Proficiency in WMS-TMS systems, particularly Manhattan, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
