Job Summary

The Logistics Preparation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, re-stocking, and handling operations on a 35,000m² logistics platform. This individual will lead two teams (one preparation team and one carist team) in ensuring the smooth operation of the platform, meeting cost, time, quality, and safety objectives set by the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the functioning of the exploitation
  • Anticipate, organize, and optimize the exploitation to achieve productivity goals
  • Ensure the respect of quality, service, and deadline commitments
  • Be responsible for optimizing human and technical resources
  • Monitor performance indicators and take corrective action as needed
  • Manage teams
  • Organize, animate, and monitor the activity of teams under their responsibility (30-40 people, including temporary staff)
  • Develop teams, supervise integration and training of new hires
  • Contribute to overall HR management (individual and collective performance, polyvalence, skill management, work standards)
  • Ensure a positive social climate within their team
  • Continuously improve processes

Process Optimization

  • Analyze and optimize logistics processes within their scope
  • Identify, propose, and implement improvement levers for operational issues
  • Be responsible for improving and optimizing productivity and quality of service on a daily basis
  • Prevention and safety

Prevention and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legislation regarding prevention and safety
  • Act as a safety actor at work

Requirements

  • Experienced manager in a logistics environment (3-4 years minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse logistics operations and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in WMS software, preferably Reflex
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and change management
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and listen to colleagues
